Funding Is Not A Level
Charter or PCA funding is a way to pay. It never determines player level. DAYSHIFT uses ASCEND and APEX for placement. Friday is high-performance only.
ASCEND
Teaching-heavy. Builds technique, confidence, awareness, and game understanding.
APEX
Faster and more demanding. Assessment or invitation, and coach approval required.
Both pathways are open to PCA, other charter, and private-pay families.
How Charter Enrollment Works
Placement request
Submit your player's DAYSHIFT placement request and select PCA or your charter school as funding.
Request through charter
Find 1991 Total Football Academy in your charter school's approved vendor directory and submit your funding request.
School approval
Your school reviews and approves the request. Once we receive the purchase order, enrollment is confirmed.
Placement
A 1991 coach places your player in ASCEND or APEX based on assessment — never on funding type.
Training begins
You receive your schedule, forms, and onboarding before your player's first DAYSHIFT morning.
