Inside the DAYSHIFT Week: Build, Break, See, Compete
How 1991 DAYSHIFT structures the week: four repeatable themes, one morning schedule, and different challenges for ASCEND and APEX players.
By 1991 Total Football Academy · San Diego

Every 1991 DAYSHIFT week follows four repeatable themes. The rhythm makes the week easy for parents and players to understand, and it lets ASCEND and APEX players work on the same idea at different levels of challenge.
Monday — BUILD: technical foundation
ASCEND players focus on receiving, passing, carrying, and confidence on the ball. APEX players work on execution quality at speed and under pressure.
Tuesday — BREAK: 1v1 and transitions
ASCEND players learn attacking and defending principles and the bravery to take players on. APEX players train transition decisions, numbers up and numbers down, and fast reactions.
Wednesday — SEE: game intelligence
ASCEND players work on scanning, spacing, and communication. APEX players solve position-specific tactical problems and sharpen perception.
Thursday — COMPETE: application
ASCEND players put the week together in small-sided games that build confidence. APEX players play high-intensity positional and competitive football.
