Introducing 1991 DAYSHIFT and 1991 Friday Elite Lab
The new 1991 week: DAYSHIFT (Monday–Thursday, 8 AM–12 PM, ASCEND + APEX pathways) and Friday Elite Lab (high-performance, four birth-year groups of 12).

1991 Total Football Academy now runs on one weekly model with two connected programs. 1991 DAYSHIFT is the weekday pathway built around the homeschool day. 1991 Friday Elite Lab is reserved for high-performance athletes. Both connect into one family profile, one registration system, and one 1991 development journey.
1991 DAYSHIFT: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
DAYSHIFT turns the school day into a development advantage. Every player is assessed, every player is placed intentionally, and every player has a pathway forward. Players train in one of two pathways:
- ASCEND, the development pathway: a teaching-heavy environment that builds technique, confidence, awareness, and game understanding. Entry is by assessment and best-fit placement.
- APEX, the performance pathway: a faster, more demanding environment focused on decision-making and execution under pressure. Access is by assessment or invitation and requires coach approval.
Players can move from ASCEND to APEX after reassessment and demonstrated readiness. Same badge. Different challenge.
1991 Friday Elite Lab: high-performance only
Friday is not divided by development level. Every athlete is expected to meet the 1991 high-performance standard, and the only separation is age. There are four mixed-gender groups of 12 players: birth years 2018–2017 (2:00–3:30 PM), 2016–2015 (3:30–5:00 PM), 2014–2013 (5:00–6:30 PM), and 2012–2011 (6:30–8:00 PM). Each 90-minute session moves from technical activation to technical development at speed, perception and decision-making, high-intensity small-sided games, and individual feedback.
Friday registration is not an open purchase. Families submit a player profile for review, 1991 checks eligibility or schedules an assessment, and approved players are placed in their age-band group. Once a group reaches 12 players, 1991 offers a waitlist spot.
